ALAS DE ZAFIRO is a conscious handmade crafts and artisan jewelry workshop, where we develop handmade products using hand-woven fabrics, with MACRAMÉ being one of our techniques.

It was born from my love for nature, for connecting with Mother Earth, and for reviving those ancestral skills I acquired from a very young age, weaving with my family, with my mother and aunts; for loving manual art, and for seeing the magic of life in details and colors.

Alas de Zafiro means power, vitality, beauty, love, and balance. We find this in our iconic species "The Hummingbird," and we identify with it as it is one of the most represented avian species in our country, Colombia. It is our Totem and our image. It also represents what we, as a brand, want to inspire: the nature, delicacy, and beauty of our pieces, the magic, and the color within them.
